Who We Are

The Atlantic Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) was formed in 1991 under a Letter Patent by the Consumer and Corporate Affairs Canada, becoming part of the global organization. 

Since inception we have grown to over 100 members, serving people from all aspects of the arboriculture industry including: 

• utility vegetation management 
• residential tree care services  
• nursery production 
• retail and governmental agencies 

The Atlantic Chapter supports its members by offering annual education sessions, practical workshops, and networking. The annual Atlantic Tree Climbing Championships (ATCC) showcases climbers from across the region, with the top climber winning the opportunity to compete in the International Tree Climbing Championships (ITCC) representing the Chapter.
